1 Client --> 2 Company Codes

Hi Experts,

Guys we have one requirement.

Can we maintain 2 company codes under one client. Will there be any problem with taxation, consolidation etc.

Please note that One company is maintained for Germany and another is maintained for India.

Will this create any problem

Hi

Yes very much possible and this has been practised by many SAP clients across the globe

One company code can be in INDIA with currency as INR and another company code can be in US with currency as US dollars

Chart of accounts needs to be carefully defined by FI consultant for such scenarios

You can have more than one company code in one client. There is no problem
