Connecting TREX to EP

hi Jack,

For connecting TREX with EP-KM, you must have installed TREX. The connection comes under post installation activities. There are two post installation steps namely server and client side post installation. THis particular connection comes under client side post installation activity.

Now For the TREX server, EP-KM acts as the client. So the settings made in the EP comes under client side configuration.

The TREX Java client needs to know the address of the TREX name server in order to communicate with the TREX servers. The following procedure describes how you determine the address and enter it into the configuration settings for the TREX Java client

The TREX Java client communicates with the TREX server by HTTP and TCP/IP. Make sure that the TCP port that the name server uses is open
