Requiement Type

Hi All,

The business process related to MRP is like, the client receive the order from the customer till 25th of each month.After this date all the requirements is passed to MRP dept for production or for external procurement.If any order received after this date then it is scheduled for next month.After receiving the material then the ordered stock of customer is sent(PGI is done).So whether this scenario is MTO or MTS. And which requirement type should i take?

Since the requirement would be consolidated and passed on the same to MM / PP at one stretch, I feel, you can go for MTS for which the strategy group is 20. This strategy group should be assigned to Requirement Type KE. This KE should be assigned to Requirement Class 040.
