- Check your SAPJSF user is not locked.
- Check the settings as suggested by previous post (config tool -> global server configuration -> services - > ume.security.core.services-> ume.r3.connectionmaster.passwd)
- Check your ABAP stack is online

Caused by: com.sap.security.core.persistence.datasource.PersistenceException: 'password' missing
Your system is not able to login to UME server to start the the JAVA instance due you missed the password of UME user. Use offline config tool to enter the password.
