ume.r3.connection.master.passwd can't change in configtool

I canu2019t change password (ume.r3.connection.master.passwd) in configtool. I donu2019t know previous password. I just change SAPJSF password and trying to change in new one, I am getting message: incorrect value u2013 The value is different from previous!

Please help me in this issue.

Go to Tcode SU01 there for user sapjsf reset the password.

Now in config tool ,provide the same password and save the chnages.

Try to restart the Java then.

Thank you for replay

I reset SAPJSF password, but when am I going to change in configtool.

I am getting this error (The value is different from previous!)

Check the property "ume.r3.connection.master.client" and see what is the client number there.

Make sure your reset the user is correct client.

Then in config tool update the password .click on password Enter the Value down in Value text fiel and then Set and confirm.

Maybe try setting ume.r3.connection.master.user again to see if it lets you put the new password.

Also sometime works with JCO's but try using the password in CAPITALS

ume.r3.connection.master.client is 001 and password reset in 800 client

canu2019t able to input value in field

So pls perform the changes in 001 -reset password and then try.

As said by Ajay if the master user is in 001 password changes in 800 won't have any effect at all, you need to reset the password in 001 and or change the client to 800
