How to configure SABRIX with ECC?

Former Member

I read a SABRIX install guide. It installs first NW04s SCS, then DB, then CI. But I believe SABRIX is a 3rd party

product. So what is the relationship between SABRIX and ECC?

Would you please help with this? Thanks!

It is an external tax interface system for ERP and CRM SAP solutions

For the configuration of sabrix with the Ecc system from the Basis point we need to maintain the RCF of type TCPIP and name it as sabrix.In the rfc give the program id as SABRIX and te

Also create a user in the ecc system with proper authorization so that it can be use for the connectivity from the sabric to ecc.

Then you need to go to the directory where the sabric connector is installed and change the files

SabrixConnection.properties

SabrixIntegrationServerLoggingConfig.xml

In the file SabrixConnection.properties

jco.client.passwd=password for User SABRIX

jco.client.ashost=ECC host name

jco.client.sysnr=instance no for ECC

gwhost=Host Name for Ecc

gwserv=33XX

In the file SabrixIntegrationServerLoggingConfig.xml

Thanks

The original question posted relates to the Sabrix Solution, the tax engine, which is a J2EE application requiring a web application server deployment. That is the reason why the Sabrix Solution is deployed on NetWeaver (it can be deployed on other application servers too).

The other component needed to have SAP and the Sabrix Solution communicate which each other is the Sabrix Integration for SAP. This is a Java based integration using the Standard Tax Interface (CA-TAX) in SAP and it's RFC interfaces. The Sabrix Integration can be deployed on any server where there is a JVM installed.

Once both components have been installed tax calculations can be performed.

Question on same note. Can it be possible to have Sabrix installed on Unix?!

Also, heard that it has to have it's own database. Is it possible to create a new Sabrx database schema on an existing j2ee engine database?!

Any update would really be appreciated. Thanks!
