SRM 5.0 login issue

Hi,

I am facing a login issue in SRM 5.0 trainning server.

For su01 id with Employee role. we are not able to login through url link. It remains in the same screen. It is not throwing an error message either.

For changing password we can able to change through web url.After changing when try to login it reamins in the same screen.

I have published all services. also checked the table entries TWPURSLV, also checked SMICM for ICM status everything looks ok.

even then when we try to login it remains in the initial screen.

Hi,

Check also if this user has roles SAP_EC_BBP_CREATEVENDOR or SAP_EC_BBP_CREATEUSER in addition to employee role.

Users with these roles will not be able to logon into the browser as this is a vendor role.

Perhaps note 537700 (point 2) can help you.

Hi All,

The issue is resolved. Thanks for all inputs.

The root cause is profiles are not generated after server restart and host file is not maintained.

Make sure the users are dialog users. In many cases, in a training system, the security team will create all the users as service users so they want be prompted for password change. Please verify user type in SU01.
