Dear friends,
I was trying to assign number ranges for Excise group in SNRO for Object - J_1IRG1, but could not find the excise group in the list.
Let us take Ex.
I have created Excise groups 01, 02 and 03.
While I update RG1 register through J1I5 transaction, I can see all Excise groups in selection screen. but when I try to assign number ranges to Excise group 01, the entry is not available in the list. and i can see 02 and 03 excise groups in the list.
Can any one please suggest where I did wrong in configuration?
Thanks & regards,
Praveen.
thanks

When you press F4 in the List of Excise Groups, you can see the Personal List Button where you can keep the Values default for that user ID i.e nothing but the Personal list.
If you have kept any value in the personal list a Blue icon will be visible in that F4 list. If you remove that you can see all values in the List of values
Hope you have now understood.
Thanks for your guidance Rayudu...
I checked personal list...there is no value being hidden.
I could not find the missing excise group.
Hope there is an issue in configuration of Excise groups. Can you please suggest..how does this effects in maintaining number ranges for that particular excise group.
As i process through J1I5 transaction, I can see the excise group ...but..I cannot find the same excise group list during number range maintenance for J_1IRG1.
Can anyone help me in this regard...
Thanks & regards,
Praveen.
Hi,
There is one more finding related to excise groups
J_1INEXCGRP - Excise group for no. Range
J_1IEXGRPS - Excise groups
Both these tables are related to Excise groups but, J_1INEXCGRP is related to number range maintenance and where as J_1EXGRPS is for confgiruation of Excise groups.
There is mismatch between these two tables.
Can any body tell me please...where is the error in configuration....
Thanks & regards,
Praveen.
Did you keep the excise groups in Personnel List?
