Deletion of warehouse number

Hi,

I have a client who is running full WM for one of its storage locations, there is stock levels and open transfer orders allocated to this WM.

Now they would like to delete the Warehouse number and move over to running Inventory Management only.

Does anyone know the steps in doing this change? What dependencies to think of? Risks?

Hi Lars

The simple answer is to break the assignment in the Enterprise structure in the configuration where you have 'Plant' - St Location - Warehouse.

If you delete that line then the St location is no longer Warehouse managed.

However the Warehouise will still exist and you will need to work backwards to remove everything.

Complete all TO's, TR's Posting change notices etc

Remove the stock

Remove the bins, st sections st types etc and delete the warehouse
