Question about ALM

Hello, PI experts,

my scenario: POS -> PI -> SAP.

Requirement: customer would be informed by ALM as soon as the network connection is broken.

Configuration in CC:

Poll Interval of the configuration on CC (communication channel) is 60 Seconds.

Configuration in Alert-Category:

Max. No. of Deliveries: 1

Expiry Time in Min.: 1

Problem: every 1 minute 2 Alerts are sent to customeru2019s mailbox, in case of the broken network connection. After one night he receives thousands of mails. It is absolutely not acceptable.

How can I solve it?

Any suggestion would be appreciated!

Hi

Try configuring Alerts at Adapter level ...when Adapter gives error,throw an Alert

does it mean , all condition satisfies (connection broken) then also you don't want to send alert at every connection break?
