Define Prepayment Meter
In this IMG activity you define types of prepayment meter.
A prepayment meter generally describes a case in which a customer can only use energy or services following prior payment
Example: 
Chip card
Slot meter.

Once defined, I can view the field using IQ02. "IS Data" tab, "Various" sub tab, there is a field labeled "PP Meter"

The field is greyed out, & not available for update.

1. What methods can be used to update this field?

2. What functionality can be driven off of this field?

3. What other configuration links to this field?

Daniel:

After you define the type of PP meter via the menu path you listed, then you must assign that PP type to a device category via DevCat maintenance transactions. The assignment of the PP meter type to the devcat will enable all devices created for that DevCat to inherit the PP meter type value.
