PI newbie.

Just installed PI 7.1 Enh 1 SPS 3...

trying to run Enterprise service builder

the java applets present pseudo URL "ms://host:port/P4"

Is this supposted to be load balancced P4 access?

Where is the ms protocol defined?

Better yet can I convince ESB NOT TO load balance ... and use fully qualified domain names?

OK ... bear with me now... I've seen mention of these profiles in regard to FQDN's. I would use the config tool or netweaver administration? I know there is no longer a visual administrator... now (>= 7.10) we have /nwa and under /rwb there's a Netweaver Admin for PI. Enterprise profile accessed via ...???

In my case the PI host is protected by a firewall. Ping will NEVER be supported! I need a different solution.

All users, including myself (sap basis) are outside firewall.

Hi!

Please check Exchange Profile parameters:

com.sap.aii.connect.directory.ms* (like e.g. com.sap.aii.connect.directory.mshost) and com.sap.aii.connect.repository.ms*

Should point to FQDN and HTTP(S) Port of Message Server.
