Trigger script from Clicking the Save Icon or or pressing the Enter Key

On the VA01 screen I need to call a script before "Server Communication", either when the Save Icon is clicked or the enter key pressed. I've not found any examples for the startRequest Event the api guide talks about. Any examples of a script catching keyboard or save events would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

similar issues I have solved with GuiXT.

For example:

On "Enter" Process="script.txt" or On "/11" Fcode="/0" Process="script.txt"
