Hi,
Does anyone experimented/worked with BDT or can anyone let me know what it is & how to approach for this method to use.
Some kind of Documentation will be really very useful to me.
Shylesh
Hi Sailesh,
If it is same as (BDT)business data toolset then u can find info in
1: transaction BP
2: menu BUPT contains all the necessary links for the BDT.
The Business data toolset (BDT) is a central control tool for maintaining SAP programs. It supports
maintenance via the use of dialog techniques, direct input and/or function modules.
The BDT is basically the tool SAP use when they want to add new fields, change field names, change/add
field groups etc for specific customers, but they are now starting to allow there customers access to these
maintenance transactions (i think mainly ramp-up customers at the moment).
for additional info PL take a look here
please gothrough this link for Example

Hi All,
Thanks for the docs. I need to reward points for Vicky also but i am not able to do at this moment. i do it later.
Now, my actual work is, in CIC0 t.code, there is one llist box which contains 6 options. Is it possible to eliminate one of those options to use?
One more question is, when i am trying to do some test application, it is asking the table space. from where i have to find this & also how to find the function module for the same.
Regards,
Shylesh
Hi Sailesh,
You can cofigure your CIC0 transction screen from SPRO transaction and maintain the values that you want in the list box. Take inputs from functional people. You can even customize the layout of CIC0.
Do you need the CIC0 config doc. I can send it to you.
<b>Reward points if it helps.</b>

Hello all,
have you tried the Easy Enhancement Workbench yet ? It uses the BDT and as since WAS 6.20 the SAP Business PArtner is part of the SAP Basis (or now Netweaver) you can use this in almost every SAP application for adding new fields and tables.
We have tested it in connection with CRM and MySAP ERP and it work pretty fine, even during upgrades.
Pretty amazing tool, especially for technical consultants.
Kind Regards from Mannheim,
Dr. Guido Juilfs
