Internal Note & Vendor Text in SRM

Hi Guys,

Can any help me the significance of Internal note and Vendor texts in SRM 4.0 version.

I have raised a shopping cart entering the Internal Notes & Vendor text in the documents and Attachments tab.

But when I checked after Saving the Shopping cart I cannot find any text which I entered in it and also I cannot see the text in the PO any where.

Please suggest how to implement this text so that it reflects in the PO.

Hi Michale,

Thanks for your reply, I have seen SAP note and found that SRM 4.0 does not support this functionality.

If I have to implement needs to do a lot of things.

Hi Srujan k,

Vendor text and Internal note should be working within your SRM 4.0 system. I have seen this issue before where the text was not saving and in order to resolve it the following was suggested:

1.Carry out the manual activity as mentioned in note #941923

2.Also read up the details mentioned in the below notes

a. note #676609

b. note #860012

c. note #1014861 this is a followon note for note 860012.

This should resolve this issue for you.
