Hi friends,
we have around 25 levels of bom and every level has 8-10 items. when we execute either bottom up multi order or top down multi level heuristic, even though i select all the levels it scheduled only one level above we cannot reschedule one by one levels so is there any setting where it reschedules multiple levels simultaneously.

Dear VInay
try putting the products in processing steps. it will behave like 10 individaul heuristics in one. This should solve your problem. If triggering high number of jobs is a problem try using process chains in RSPC transaction. IN it you can have a job dependency and will work like one big heuristic running sequentially.

Yes
Senthil is absolutely right , you need to unmark the fag for multi level planning. For that you need to create a copy of the heuristic and do it as the system will not allow you to change in the standard.

Hi,
In the seetings for the heuristics SAP_PP_009 (txn /SAPAPO/CDPSC11), there is a setting available under 'Basic Settings' called 'Component Check'. Please try the option 'Check Other Components'. Kindly read the help around that topic as well.
Also check the parameter 'Execute Single-Level Planning' in the heuristics SAP_PP_010.

Hello Vinay,
Kindly take a look at the OSS note Note 560969 - Rescheduling: Bottom-Up (SAP_PP_009). Looks like the muti level works only if the dependent requirement has a fixed pegging relationship with a receipt element.
There is some BADI /SAPAPO/RRP_BOTTOMUP available (Note 629683 - BAdI for 'Rescheduling: Bottom-up' heuristic). You can do some research on this BADI and see how best you can utilise the heuristics for your need.
Regards,
Senthilrajan
