using standard backend service SAP_PD

Hi,

I want to use SAP backened service SAP_PD to create org. unit or position or job. I want something similar to hiring process.

I want to use SAP_PD with option :" Process without start object"

I want to use SAP_PD wthout any Lead object ID. Please suggest.

Hi Mukesh,

First of all i thank you for all your replies.

I have already checked standard process to create org. unit.

This process has following properties:

1) It needs a process start object

2) It has relation defined O to O. That it lead object type is O. So it will create a new org. unit related to lead object id.

I need is process like HIRE in PA.

I need a process in PD with following proeprties:

1) Which starts withot process start object

2) It execute without the requiernmrnt of lead object type.

Please suggest.

Hi,

in the IMG Configuration go to the following menu

Personnel Management ->HR Administrative Services -> Process Configuration -> Setup Process ->Configure Process Start

here u can select the check box for the "No object" for the process.

Hi Mukesh,

Yes i understand this. Thi approach works with SAP_PA service.

In SAP_PD also we can set this option (along with skip object id selection) but somehow it does not work without Lead Object ID.

I want is like creating a root org. unit...
