Compatibility between NWDS 7.000 and Adobe live cycle designer 8.1

Hi,

I have installed adobe live cycle designer 8.1 on my system.

I am able to start form designer stand alone.

But in NWDS while editing ui interactive form nothing appears also no error is thrown .

Version of NWDS is 7.00 with SP 0.

Can we use adobe live cycle designer 8.1 with NWDS 7.0 or have to use 7.0?

Check the pre-requisites of Note 1176858 for ALD 8.1 installation.

Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.1 can be used with the following ADS Versions:
SAP EhP 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0
SAP EhP 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.1

Are you sure on NW 7.0 SP00 level ? I am referring to overall NW SP level and not your NWDS level.

Thanks for reply.

We are on NW 7 SP 14 but Version of NWDS is 7.00.

SAP Notes does not talk about NWDS version.

The NWDS version and the SAP NW version should match. So try installing NWDS 7.0.14.

Also since you are SP14 you can use ALD 8.0. ALD 8.1 will not work with SP14.

Issue resolved after reinstalling adobe live cycle designer 8.1.
