Archiving Java Dictionary Table contents

Hi,

I would like to know the SAP recommended solution to archive JDT contents on Java stack. I came across XML Data Archival Service (DAS) available on Java stack but am not sure if custom object creation is supported in 7.0 version. Is it the recommended solution or is there any other simpler alternative?

As I know XML Data Archival Service (DAS) is not supported in 7.0. There is another third-part proprietary solution for XML archiving in 7.0. Do not remember it's name, sorry.
