IDES disp+work.exe

Dear all,

I am installed ides server and also restored old backup of server but now i am going to start the sap mmc process their is disp+work.exe can not start showing status stopped (J2EE status info unavailable )but other two running perfectly.

Check your patch level in SAP MMC by right clicking on the top level node (SID Name) and select Version Info.

Make sure the same patch level for disp+work.exe is the same as the patch level of the other components.

hi,

If the disp+work.exe for J2ee is not running, from my previous experiences , it was the following parameters

-Xms1024m

-Djco.jarm=1

-XX:PermSize=256m

-XX:MaxPermSize=256m

-XX:NewSize=171m

-XX:MaxNewSize=171m

I would set up teh value as above , wht configuration the system would be and the SAP would come up

then i tune the parameters

Do you know what was the kernel patclevel before .Please go with the kernel upgrade.Rememebr to take the backup of the old kernel.

First check dev_disp logs .

check thet the database is running.r3trans -d and chekc that there is no return code.
