Copy control ---TAO

Dear Friends,

I have changed the item category in Inq , quot and sales order to TAO for milestone billingand everythin seems to be working fine individually except data is not getting passed from one individual doc to another. I am guessing need to make copy control settings ............ when i checked VTAA item list there is not tao....................should i copy an item and rename it as TAO is tat the solution

Hi,

Yes,you are right.

We have to maintain the Copying control for this Item category "TAO".

Goto VTAA T.Code.

Click on Position.

Enter the target type as "QT" and source as "IN".

Click on "Item category".

Select teh existing item category and click on "COPY".

Here change the item category to "TAO".

Save.

Or maintain the following values:

Copy requirements:303.

DataT:151

DataT:102

DataT:002

FPLA:251

Tick the mark "opy schedule lines".

"Update Document flow".

Similarly maintain the copycontrol between this Quotation and order by using VTAA T.Code for this item category.

Hi,

You have to do COPY CONTROL SETTINGS in the VTAA

Select the Source and the Target documents and goto ITEM under the control tab and maintain the TAO in the new entries. with COPY REQUIREMENT as 301 .

Try this and revert back if you need further details.
