Hi,
I would like to know the limitations of using EEWB.
1. Can we add multiple custom tabs?
2. Is there a limit to number of fields in custom tab?
3. Can we add listbox/table control using EEWB?
Thanks
Kamal
Hi Kamal,
1. Can we add multiple custom tabs?
Yes, you can have multiple tabs provided you create multiple projects for same object.
For example if you create 2 projects for service contract, EEWB creates 2 sets of objects that includes scrrens, BAID implementation and so on.
2. Is there a limit to number of fields in custom tab?
The limitation is 25 fields per screen. The EEWB extension wizard takes only 25 fields at a time. However you can manually add fields to the EEWB screen.
3. Can we add listbox/table control using EEWB?
This depends on the type of extension. If the extension type is 'Add new table' - a table control is created.
But this type of enhancement is not available for all Objects. For instance, extension type 'Add new table' is available for Business partner but is currently not available for 'Service contract'.
