Hi,
I would like to seek expert inputs on the impacts on the SAP system due to different time zones if the server time zone is different than the local time zone. How do we handle the due dates and posting date differences ? We have the server on a UTC time zone, but require to report material movements as well calculate the customer billing due dates based on local time zones.
Would appreciate inputs from the forum.
Regards,
Hi
If the server time zone is different from the local time zone then you will be handling the due dates and posting dates differences based on the server time zone. But if you have the server on UTC time zone then make sure that you are maintaining the local time zone as per the server time zone only. So report the material movements as well calculate the customer billing due dates based on local time zones only. Because the server time zone and local time zone should be same.
