CUP/SPM joins the user ID with FF ID in R/3?

Hello,

I hava a doubt. I have a SAP GRC AC 5.3. I have configures the SPM in R/3, and the CUP for SPM.

I want to know if I request a Superuser in the CUP, then it joins me the User ID I have requested the superacces to the FF ID in the R/3.

Or simply this CUP request only send an OK and then the owner of the FF ID has to join the User Id with the FF ID.

I need help.

Best Regards.

Pablo Mortera.

Pablo,

The Superuser access request in CUP will assign the user ID to the requested FF ID on the backend for the specified validity period. The owner approves in CUP and no actions are needed on the backend by the FF owner.

That is correct although depending on the support pack level, you may find that you have a few technical constraints.

The Request type is indeed Superuser Access but unless you are on SP07 or higher you will not be able to use the FF Owners in the R3 table to act as approvers in CUP so you will have to build a specific approval workflow to cater for that.
