Hi,
Is there a possibility to change the Alert Text that is generated in case of Monitors with Performance Attributes.
If the monitor has Status Attributes, a nice readable text is generated and visible in RZ20 next to the monitor. This tect is also generated by the system.
For Monitors with Performance Attributes such as RFC Destination Availability, a Alert text is generated like :
&1 &3 < &2 &3 15 min. avg. value below threshold value (&4 measurements)
Because we send these alert with SNMP Traps to a third party system, we want a readable text on the console of this system.
My question is : Can we change the the Alert Text for Monitors (RZ20) with Performance Attributes
Hope somebody can help me out.
Thanks

Hi Paul,
For these kind of scenario what i would suggest that copy the auto-reaction method which suits you and then define parameters that you want to use.
We have used primarily the CCMS_AUTO_REACT_OP_COMMAND method as a template for os related . Using txn RZ21 we copied this, creating a customized version, Z_XXXXXX.
Then you can define the parameters as you want.
In your case you can call a script from this auto-reaction and write the data to log or text file .SNMP can come and read that file as all the Monitoring system have file watcher mechanism and can report any update on the file.

Hi folks!
I know this is a very old thread, but since it's still without answer, here's my input anyway: tcode SE91
