Question on faisability

Dear Gurus,

I have a problem on Customer Master Data that atm i cannot solve.

I want to allow some users to see the General Data information in display in VD02, while others would see it in Modification.

This implies a Authorisation role for it. I have found a standard customizing doing this but unfortunately it doesn't work based on account groups...which i need. Some account groups must be blocked for modifications and other must not.

I'd like to find a standard solution knowing that i need this distinction based on account groups.

Atm I have found the BADI CUSTOMER_FIELDSTATUS where i could code all this. Or try with Transaction variantes.

Any other ideas or solutions pls ?

Hi

Roles and Authorizations are for this purpose only and they are standard. It is best to use roles and authorization instead of doing BADI's and screen variants.

I have found a solution mixing your autorization way and some Guitxt developement.
