Hi, Does anyone has experience on getting an error V50R 036 Document cannot be delivered (see long text) when running the delivery due list VL10G? This error has been bugging us for a while and we can only replicate the symptom on testing systems once. When the delivery due list is run in background, one among hundreds delivery got this error. When running the transaction again with the same variant, the error disappeared and legitimate inventory insufficient error show up or some of the sales order even got delivered without error.
I am suspecting it is the material lock issue during ATP check when trying to create the delivery, however, cannot confirm with evidence. No inventory movement of blocking of the sales order is going on between the two runs of VL10G with different outcomes.
If anybody has got the same error, please share the solution. We are not using mulitple parallel processing in the user profile so it is less likely this is caused by mulitple parallel processing for the same material as described in some of the OSS notes.
Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Have a look at note 576627
thanks

Sounds like the documents are locking each other out. When using the VL10 transactions to create deliveries I would recommend an availability check be run as a batch job after midnight so the availability data is correct at the start of the day, then the deliveries are created based on the overnight requirements.
