Handling Units disappear after PGR against inbound delivery

Former Member

Hi,

We use HUs.

We have an issue where we have a NL or NLCC (inter/intra company) replenishment delivery with HUs. When this delivery is PGId it creates the inbound (EL) delivery with reference to the outbound with the HUs for the receiving plant. When the receiving plant recevies (PGRs) against the inbound the Handling Units from both the inbound and outbound delivery disappear.

Why? How? Is this some setting in SPRO?

Please advise how to turn this off. We want the HUs to remain in both the inbound and outbound deliveries.

Thanks!

This is an SAP issue with Decentralized WMS. SAP refuses to accept it as an issue because they assume it is correct to remove the HUs.

We correct the issue by adding custom ABAP code to add the HUs back in.

Hi,

You need to manually take GR wrt HU for an Inbound delivery against a PO.

When you do GR for the delivery, you need to put Tick against the GR for HU on the screen.

Then system asks you the individual HU number against which you need to do the GR.

This is the standard SAP way of working.

Hope this helps.

Harsh

Check the item categories for the delivery documents, refer IMG > Logistics Execution > Shipping > Packing > Packing Control By Item Category

Packing Control is set correctly.

It appears to be an issue only when the DWMS performs a PGR via IDOCs. I applied some notes for this issue but they did not resolve it.

Is there some configuration for HUs to be removed after a PGR??
