SNP Optimizer run problem

Hi Experts,

I am running SNP optimizer for one product location combination, though necessary PPM and T LANE exist, during the run optimizer does not take into account any PPM or T lane, becuase of this it is creating only PUR REQ, Since i am new to Optimizer i am not able to figure where i missing.

Experts please provide valuable suggestions, and also give some link which have detailed information about master data set up and configuration needed for SNP optimizer other then SAP help document.

Dear babu

pls set the procurement as inhouse production in the product master and try again.

Make sure u have put non delivery penalty in SNP 1 tab too.

Hi Babu,

1) First and foremost is to set up Optimiser profile. Check and ensure whether

the Profile is set up correctly in all respects

2) Second is master data which contains PPM, T-lanes, quota, resource etc.,

3) The Costs in Product master needs to be set up as per requirement

4) Ensure the PPM has no errors(check cons check for PPMs)

5) Ensure PPM, T-lane are assigned to active models

6) Check the Optimiser run logs which will give clear picture why it is

not considered like

7) Use transaction /SAPAPO/OPTEXPLAIN to get explanation of

SNP optimisation results
