Hi,
we have the requirement not to allow "normal" SolMan users to view/edit other documents in the service desk (CRM_DNO_MONITOR, CRMD_ORDER) than a particular process type Z001 which we maintained for the service desk.
I know that we could use a search variant for CRM_DNO_MONITOR where the process type is defaulted and set to read-only but the user could change to a different variant. And even then the user could use CRMD_ORDER to search/display all documents which are not relevant for them.
It rather seems to be an authorization issue. What we have done so far is to do some setting in the role:
Maintained Authorization Object CRM Order - Business Transaction Type --> Filter on Z001
But this seems not to be sufficient.

hav you tried using solution keys....
for e.g u hav defined 2 solution 1 america and 2 india...now india users can';t see the mesage for america....
this can be achieved by using Solution keys
goto DSWP where you get the list of all solutions if by default some solution open click back button u wil be navigated to the main screen of all solutions
now from SAP Menu goto ->Technical information
This will display solution and ID which you can assign to the users.
