I can suggest you either go for Stored Procedure in Sender Channel, which regulates the messgae size or do as suggested in these notes

Directly use JDBC sender adapter....keep the polling interval high ( atleast 2 min )....make the query in batches of 500 or 1000 will help you keep track or records..
No issue...,we have moved 45K employee master records like this only..

Use PayloadZipBean adapter module.
