Error in installation ERP 6.0 HA MSCS A

I am installing ECC 6.0 EHP4 ready, on clustered Oracle10g, win2003. I have an error on MSCS-A step, Sapinst_dev.log An error occured and the user decided to retry the current step:

Hello folks,

I also got the same error while configuring the first MSCS node. I replaced the control.xml file and executed the sapinst again and it worked perfectly.

However I have a query when you run the sapinst with the patched INST Master DVD it gives a warning

Diagnosis: Control file parser reports errors. SOLUTION: Check the log file and contact the installation development.

I clicked on OK and continued with the installation. What is this warning talking about??? Does this warning appear only because you are using a patched control.xml file.

Please suggest.
