Workflow Templates

Hello all,

With EP 6.0 SP14 installed, we have a requirement with respect Knowledge Management Workflow process.

Instead of setting the approval process for each and every folder, can we create workflow templates like Template A with a set of approvers and Template B with a set of approvers.

The reason is once we have predefined templates, it would be easier for the end users to assign the templates instead of setting the approval process manually.

If the no.of folders are limited then setting up the approval process is easier. However if the same extends to 1000's , then it would be a tedious task.

Does KM has a solution for this ?

Hi Venkat,

This functionality exists for collaboration tasks/workflows in NW04S, but not in NW04.

Thanks for the info.

We have KMC 6.0.14.0.0 (NW04 SPS14).

Can we upgrade to NW04S from NW04 ?

Will that cause any problem to our exisiting set up.
