Hi,
A customer has requested that all portal navigation be disabled whilst running a certain application within the portal until they've reached the final screen.
Is this possible?
I added the isDirty flag, but this just launches a new session.
Thanks!
Hi Satyajit,
I've looked everywhere for a solution for this but no no avail. Have you got any suggestions?
Thanks.

Hi,
They are using NW2004S and developing in NDS 7.01.03.
The company standard is to use IE 6 at the moment I'm afraid.
Cheers.

Hi,
Yes this is possible if by "navigation" you mean all the top-level navigation links (to workspaces, pages, iviews). Since you have your application integrated with the portal, you should already know that your application runs as an embedded IFrame within the parent portal document.
You can cancel all event propagations so that when someone clicks on some top-level link while your application is running & is not in its last page, no redirections will happen. It will remain on that page.
Of course there is no API to do this (none that I know of) so we will have to work our way around. But first:
1. Which version of NW are you in?
2. Is there any chance that the customer doesn't use IE? IE should work too but it makes your development more difficult.
Regards,
Satyajit
