Hi,
I have already implemented DP and SNP. I want to implement PPDS and GATP, should I implement them sequentially or at the same time? Can you please give me advantages and disadvantages?
Thanks in advance
HI LCD
the implementation process (Phase wise or big bang) will totally depend on the business requirement.
Since you have already implemented SNP it would suggest you are not using the CTP feature of GATP for
creating receipts or covering uncovered demands at FG level. ypu might be using GATP just for availability
check and not creating receipts. In that case i think it would be subjective to the business requirement. Untill
that is understood in totality it would not to wise to comment on it. Yes in many cases where the uncovered demands
are covered by GATP like in CTP or rule based ATP also covering the shortages it is definitely required that
both GATP and PPDS go hand in hand. If you are still not sure then you can elaborate the business requirement which
might help suggesters to suggest better......

Hi LCD 777,
You can implement both at the sametime. Advantages is time saving and
reduction in efforts. There is no disadvantages as of now which we have
noticed.
