Connect Solution manager to SAP

Hi,

We have a manager solution that we need to connect SAP to request and download software. The Solution Manager is version 4.0 and NW 7.00 SP level 15 with Win203 and SQL2005 and kernel 201. The question is what are the steps to connect to SAP? Do you require an Internet connection?

You need to perform the basic configuration in SPRO regarding "connection to SAP". You will need a SAP Router connection to SAP and maintenance optimizer configured (also via SPRO).
