CUP 5.3 Workflow problem

Hi GRC Experts

CURRENT SETUP

STG1 = MANAGER USING (REPORTS TO LINE)

STG2 = TRAINER WITH (CAD COMPANY OF ROLE) with approver defined

I would like to know if there was a way that CUP could get role owner approver to be included in above setup when a critical role is selected (eg basis role as part of the normal workflow). Normal workflow being when user request roles which are not of a sensitive nature. Z_Normal = MAN + TRAINER whereas Z_CRITICAL = Role owner from same workflow using the same intiator.

So only one initiator is used eg. new account or change account. Is there a way to do this?

HI Donovan,

For that you can have initiators with Attribute ROLE and based on the role type (assuming you have some naming convention for critical roles...eg ZZZ), so you would have two initiators (CURRENT PATH), one for critical roles (ROLE APPROVER PATH).

You'll have to play with the initiators conditions....
