No Auto UD for SKIP lot

Hello Guys,

I am getting this error when we background job tries to do AUTO UD

"Error during quantity posting for inspection lot 000000314850, manual proc. required"

We get precisely the same error message when processing UD's for ROH Type 01 inspection lots for the same batch material. No auto UD or skp lots are involved.

We only experience this error when an external LIMS system sends via RFC serval UD's to R/3 in a matter of a few seconds.

Based on the information in this thread, I think SAP is too busy doing 321's in background and I only need to add a pause in the interface process of a few seconds between UD's.

For which inspection type you are doing the Auto UD. Make sure that you selected Auto UD for skipped lot in the background job

Material master (skip allowed and automatic ud is activated or not) ?

Result recording all characteristics have been completed ?

None of the characteristics have been rejected ?

No defects have been recorded, or quality notifications created ?

The waiting time set in Customizing must have elapsed ?

No - Because it is set to skipped. Only the UD part didnt work inspection lot already has the status skipped lot.

None of the characteristics have been rejected ?

None - Since there is no results recording due to SKIP

No defects have been recorded, or quality notifications created ?

None- Since there is no results recording due to SKIP

The waiting time set in Customizing must have elapsed ?

No. Background job runs every 20 minutes to perform UD on skip Lots.

For which inspection type you are doing the Auto UD. Make sure that you selected Auto UD for skipped lot in the background job

Incoming Goods Reciept inspection type. Auto ud is selected.

What is the status of Quality level?

Have you maintained DMR at lot level in inspection plan? what is the setting of DMR?

It also ahs "lot is not inpspected (skip lot)

We maintain DMR rule at characteristic level.

Hay Dude!!!

If you want to do "AUTO UD" of insp lot then in inspection plan you should maintain DMR at lot level in header not at char. level.

After that you have to maintain DMR in insp plan header.

To do auto UD quality level next stage should be "SKIP", if it is not inspected or inspect then you have to do inspection & UD manually for first lot then from 2nd lot system will do auto UD.

If still you are getting problem, then let us know what data you have entered in DMR....

Hey Dude,

Our all DMR rules are set at characterstics level for the other matarials and auto ud works fine for all of them for last 5 years )

for this plz. check in spro>Quality Management>Basic Settings>Maintain Settings at Plant Level>select plant>inslot completion>automatic usage decision --> what is delay time for skip lot.

this time must be elapsed before automatic usage decision.
