Adjusting the Date format on background run reports

We are running alot of reports in the Background and when they are generated they are coming up in UK format not US format. Is there a way I can change this setting in SAP so the reports come out with the correct format?

It actually depends on the notation of the user ID that is running the background job. You can change the date notation of that User ID. Generally all the background jobs are scheduled using 1 user ID.
