AII Version Question

Hi All,

I'm currently doing research for my company into the benefits of AII. Through my research, I have noticed there are two different version of AII, 2.1 and 4.0. Can anyone tell me which version is the most current? I see guides that address both but in different versions.

One more question for you, do you need to be running NetWeaver 2004s to run AII 4.0 or can you run it on NetWeaver 2004? I've been going through the AII 4.0 Master Guide and all it refers to is NetWeaver 2004s.

For the installation of SAP Auto-ID Infrastructure 4.0 see SAP Note 867167.

NetWeaver 04'S is required in case of installing SAP AII 4.0.

I have also got this doubt, does AII 4.0 needs netweaver 2004s or is NW 2004 enough ?
