Cutsomization of standard perosnal information iview in ess

Hi

I need to customize standard personal information ESS iview , I don't find the file in the path -System Admin -> support -> portal runtime -> deployment -> root -> WEB-INF ->deployment -> pcd . Please do let me know how can i find the file with the correct name and i would like to know the steps to upload the files in NWDS.

Hi,

To customize the personnel Inofrmation iviews in nwds, you have to import the business package ess from nwdi(check [this|http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=31476]).

the iviews are located in , loggged into portal>content administration>Portalcontent>Content provided by SAP>enduserContent.

You dont need to import the iviews into NWDS to do basic customization...the best practice is to make a copy of the view as a delta link into a new folder ...change the iview properties/Personalizations in that iview....

Hi,

you need to create the project from the inactive DC's in the ESS software component.

The DC name for the personnal information Iview is that: ess/per/sap.com.

so dependens on the country you can take ess/<country code>/per/sap/com,
