Hello everybody,
I working in ECC6 environment abap+java and i need to apply a stack pack, until this point no probleme, have been to SAP Market Place and loaded what i need, but would like to have an information
I have always applyed on double stack the full stack pack, i mean the support package abap and java, and my question is, should i always have to apply both ? is it necessary ? there is a recomendation ?
Thanks everybody for your answer !!!
The general advice is to apply the full stack, this means you patch abap and java. The reason behind this is, that there might be dependencies from abap/java to the sap kernel, or between abap and java.
I recommend to check the latest support package guide, for example the chapter "Parallel Update of Dual-Stack Systems" might be interesting.
Regards, Michael
