Hierarchical Planning in APO

Dear Experts,

I need to create product-location hierarchies in SNP and use them for aggregate level planning. I have created the relevant product hierarchy and location hierarchy in APO. from these two I have also generated product-location hierarchy. However, when I go to the planning book, i donot get any entries against product-location(header) or product-location(member). please advise.

Hi,

Did you assign your hierarchy to model 000?

Meanwhile, also ensure that your transportation lanes are maintained.

Yes, I did assign it to model 000. What i forget was to change hierarchy in planning area tab. Now I have done so and I can see the members. But, going forward I need some inputs of making use of this in actual planning. How can I create product group or location group in SNP. They donot exist in MD?

Please advise.
