EHP1 on BI system

Hi ,

We have customer landscape where ECC 6.0 ,BI ,EP components installed.Now my customer is asking if he can go ahead with BI to EHP1 & other componentes like ECC & EP to latest support packs.

If i am not wrong it will create issue with integration.however i am not sure about it.

Kindly let me know if scenario like this is possible & is there any SAP note or documentaion available for the same.

Hi Mohit,

It is always recommended to have all landscpae on same version. because EHP4 for ECC system is also based upon EHP1.

Check SAP note 1177409. Find below the extract from this note:

Installing the enhancement package 1 for SAP NetWeaver without the aforementioned SAP enhancement package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0 will result in malfunctioning of the installation procedure and/or the final system state.
