Control field display by Role in SRM7

Hi! I understand we can personalise the display easier now in SRM7. My question is can we control the type of display by user role? For example, for external users we want to hide the prices so that they don't see that but when internal users or administrators get in, they can see the prices. Is that possible?

Appreciate any advice on the above.

Hi,

You can enhance the WDDOINIT method in the view of WebDynpro. Please look at SE80 WebDynpro Component.

Check the role and change the field visibility in the method.
