Enhancement pack - stops in the configuration screen.

Our system is ECC 6.0, HP-UX

I have already done EHP4 installation on Dev system , now doing on QA system, i am following the same procedure as used on DEV.

In the configuration screen, when it comes to the selection of support packages, i have given the required support packs and clicked next, but i get the below error

ERROR> Nothing selected.

No packages were selected for the installation.

Further processing makes no sence.

Please repeat the module and select the components to install/update.

I even tried doing the installation from first but the issue is still the same.

Please some one can help me.

go back in SOlMan Maintenance optimizer and create a new XML file.

or...

copy the DEV XML stack file, rename it as QAS. now edit it with your favorite text editor, change SID, host name and SYSTEM number to QAS values.

Hi friends,

After giving couple of tries i was able to resolve the issue. I have to go to solman and select QA ignoring other boxes and gernerate the XML and start the installation from scratch and then it started working.

Check the Stack configuration file. You cannot use the file from Dev. What you can do is use the one from Dev, but change the the host names, SID and db host name to point to the QA system or just simply create one from Sol Man for your QAsystem.
