Rep objects created in wrong SWCV

Hi all,

I have created my repository objects in a SWCV which different from the expected. Please tell how to move them to correct SWCV.

In IR going to ,

<b>Tools> Import design objects/ Export Design Objects</b> will that help?

No Naveen,

It wont work. It will try to import SWCV with same name in IR. It is not possible to have tow SWCV with same names in one IR.

HI Naveen,

This is used for importing objects from different system/or importing SAP standard objects/contents etc.

This is mainly used in Transporting of XI objects..

If you use this, in your case, first you will export the all obejcts under the old SWCV. Then you will import the exported .tpz file into the same Repository. But you are not telling where it should go etc.. ie. you are not mentioning the new SWCV etc..

Naveen,

You right click on the object --> Click on Copy Object.

Then it asks for the new object name, Software component and namespace. Give them and click on Copy.

Hi naveen,

You can copy objects wise(Data Type/message type etc) to the new SWCV->NameSpace. But you can not copy entire namespace at a time.
