SAP routerstring os x

Hi all,

I have a problem with connecting to my SAP system using os x. I have to setup a routing string.

When I'm in the office it's no problem. I can use the following routing string:

conn=/H/172.17.10.101/S/3210

But there is also a possibilty to connect (without vpn) to the system using a routingerstring and a application server. I tested this on my windows machine with the following parameters:

Application server: applser101

SAP routerstring: /H/XX.XXX.XXX.XXX/S/3299/SapGol/H

System ID: ERP

System nr: 10

Can you please tell me how the connection string on OS x should look like?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

you might want to have a look at chapter 9.1 Connection Strings of the manual coming with the SAP GUI for Java installation.

In particular, section "SAP Routers" and the example given there.

Best regards

Hello Maarten,

according to the description in section "SAP Routers" of chapter 9.1 Connection Strings, I would translate your WinGUI connection definition to

conn=/H/XX.XXX.XXX.XXX/S/3299/H/172.17.10.101/S/3210

to be entered on the Advanced tab of the new connection dialog.

However I am not sure what is the intention behind SapGol in your router string for WinGUI.

In case this is supposed to be the router password, it should be /P/SapGol, so

conn=/H/XX.XXX.XXX.XXX/S/3299/P/SapGol/H/172.17.10.101/S/3210

Best regards
