Migrate Real estate objects to another system

Hi,

We are planning to implement RE-FX in a customer and the project is surrounded into another system upgrade project that involve other SAP modules.

Our question is if we implement RE-FX in an ECC 6.0 and want to transfer in the near future all configuration and objects to another plattform, is there a standard way to do it? The new platform will have the same version but will reorganize some codification, Chart of Accounts, etc.

Do we need to use BADI as if it was an upgrade from a legacy software or is there a SAP method using ALE, IDOC or any other communication system that takes advantage of using the same SAP version?

Hi Alfred,

for extract data in old system and create data in new system you can use BAPIs BAPI_RE_*. LSMW may also be helpful for data migration.

I wanted to know if there were a way to import/export objects. So, it seems we'll have to use BAPIS.
