Use of Web Dynpro "Record" button for mass testing

Hi Experts,

I have created one WD screen for Travel Data Entry. We have to test the screen for about 100 test cases. How we can test the screen automatically for 100 test cases. We have heard that "Record" functionality of WD can be used. For getting this option we have to right click on WD Application and select "Record".

I right clicked on my WD application and then selected "Record". The WD screen appears. I entered some test data and saved.

I can see following message:

Application Url: http://ttrr:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/mycompany.com/mycompany~travel/travelApp
Port: 12000
******************************
The Server is ready to accept Xml files from the Web Dynpro Runtime on Port 12000

I can not see the XML

Can any one help me how to see the XML and how to use it

I am under impression that some how I can generate the test XML.

For testing purpose, I can use the XML.

Please let me know if I am correct.

The record button works. There was some issue from the basis side. Certain port should be open for record button to work.

Recording can be done. I am however not sure how it can be used for used for mass testing. I believe we can generate some XMLs and then make changes in XML and load all XMLs for testing purpose.
